About Painted Ghost
Painted Ghost was set up in 2010. When my son was born at the beginning of 2010 I was unhappy with some of the baby products that were already out there. I decided to make my own and developed a range of baby products that were affordable but of the highest quality.
Making baby products that are extra special is something that Painted Ghost thrives on. Sourcing fabrics that are fabulous and funky and creating products that are practical are something I’d like think I excel at.
My products aren't mass produced, they're only made a few at a time. Sometimes many items are one of a kind and never made again.
As well as the products available online, I offer a bespoke service where items can be personalised (at an extra cost) if you're looking for something that is truly one-of-a-kind.
About Tracy
With a degree in Media Production and as a teacher of ICT and Media you wouldn’t expect me to be able to sew, especially since when I started this whole business I was looking after my family and working full time. Although that year I did in textiles at university might have helped a bit.
I’m a mother of two: one who is 17 years old and one who is nearly 16 months! Things have changed quite a bit since I had my first child and, with The Internet being totally amazing and awesome, being able to sell my products has been an incredible challenge (I like a challenge).
I’d like to think that each of the items I make (by hand and with a sewing machine, nothing mass produced here) is extra special and I always make sure that they are finished to the highest quality.
